Before you start: Professional level HR experience: 4 years with a master's or higher, 5 years with a bachelor's, or 7 years without a degree.
How you are tested: Computer based exam at Pearson VUE or online proctored (OnVUE); 115 scored + 25 pretest questions.
Renewal: Valid 3 years; 60 credits (45 HR + 15 Business) or retake; $169 recertification fee.
Full cost details: $595 total ($495 exam + $100 application fee). Recertification $169 per 3 year cycle.
